LEAVE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. 1. The Leave Assistance Program is established to allow employees to donate leave days to other employees of the District for parental leave as defined in Article V.M.1. of this agreement, ,illness or death of a member of the immediate family as defined in ArticleArticle V.C.1. of this agreement, or when an employee is unable to perform their duties as prescribed by a medical doctor. This program will not operate under the concept of a “bank”, but rather from an “as needed” basis. Annual and Sick leave days must be contributed before accrued leave days are accessed.
