TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. A. As part of the University policy to encourage staff members to further their formal education, the Tuition Assistance Program for Employees was established. Under the Tuition Assistance plan, qualified Employees will be issued vouchers which will enable them to register without paying tuition. (Incidental fees, however, must be paid by the Employee.)

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. Fort Xxxx State University will provide tuition assistance (participants are required to pay all applicable fees) for employees, their spouses, and dependents of employees. The definition of each eligible group is provided below along with general eligibility criteria. Also included is a section regarding application procedures. Be sure to examine the criteria carefully and contact the FHSU Human Resource Office with questions regarding eligibility or the Financial Assistance Office for questions regarding specific awards.
TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. Continuing employees covered by this Collective Agreement are covered by the University's Tuition Assistance Program as described in Appendix F.
TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. Undergraduate and graduate coursework taken by a full-time Faculty member at other accredited institutions of higher learning may be considered for reimbursement each fiscal year subject to budget availability. In order to be eligible, the SJR State Tuition Reimbursement Educational Plan form must be submitted to the applicable Vice President by March 1 of each year. Faculty members must have been employed for a full consecutive year before being eligible for tuition assistance and must be employed by the college in a full-time capacity at the time of reimbursement. Coursework must be in a discipline and from an institution as approved by the Faculty member’s Vice President. Once the Faculty member provides documentation of payment and successful completion of the course (grade C or better if a grade is assigned for the course) to the Business Office, reimbursement shall be made to the Faculty member. Coursework beyond the minimum required for the degree, textbooks, or laboratory fees cannot be reimbursed under this program.

B. Tuition assistance will apply to tuition fees only. Incidental fees such as laboratory fees, etc., which may be charged are the responsibility of the Employee. Failure to meet and maintain the eligibility requirements for tuition assistance will result in the benefit forfeiture and the benefit amount will be recovered by payroll deductions or other appropriate means.
C. The application forms will be available at the Total Compensation & Wellness (TC&W) Office, as well as eligibility requirements and any additional information that may be necessary.
D. Tuition Assistance will provide for two (2) courses or six (6) credit hours, whichever is greater, per semester for two semesters, and one course or four (4) credit hours, whichever is greater, for one semester during the academic year. There will be no waiting period for eligibility of full-time Employees. To assure that employees are not assessed late fee(s), participating Employees should file their application with TC&W during the Priority Registration period.
TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. The Employer encourages Employees to take courses of instruction, particularly those for university credit and those which are directly related to their work. The Tuition Assistance program is a benefit provided by the Employer. All eligible Employees may participate in this program immediately upon their hire date, in accordance with the Tuition Assistance Policy.

Tuition assistance will apply to tuition, registration, and omnibus fees only. Other incidental fees which may be charged are the responsibility of the Employee.
B. Failure to meet and maintain the eligibility requirements for tuition assistance will result in benefit forfeiture. Failure to submit an application for tuition assistance and/or the reduced tuition benefit for spouses and children before the end of the term will forfeit eligibility under the program for that term.
C. Admission to a degree program in the University, academic advising, registration, payment of fees, etc., shall be administrated by the respective College and service offices responsible for these functions.
D. Tuition assistance shall be issued for courses elected in any school or College of Xxxxx State University. Tuition assistance for non-credit job-related courses offered by Xxxxx State University, shall be issued only if application is made and approval is received from the Department of Organization and Employee Development. Tuition assistance will provide for two courses or six (6) credit hours, whichever is greater, per semester for two semesters, and one course or four (4) credit hours, whichever is greater, for one semester during the academic year.

Tuition Assistance will provide for two (2) courses or six (6) credit hours, whichever is greater, per semester for two (2) semesters, and one (1) course or four (4) credit hours, whichever is greater, for one semester during the academic year. There will be no waiting period for eligibility of full-time Employees. To assure that Employees are not assessed late fee(s), participating Employees must register during the Priority Registration period. Otherwise, Open or Late Registration fees will be assessed.
TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. The Employer will provide tuition assistance in the amount of 100% of the fee for approved courses taken at McMaster University or other approved institutions for courses which are pertinent to an Employee's present or future duties. Conferences, workshops or other courses not part of a formal education program leading to a certificate, degree or diploma do not qualify for tuition assistance.
