Common use of Leave for Elected Officers Clause in Contracts

Leave for Elected Officers. An Employee elected as a full time paid officer of the executive of the Union of Northern Workers, the Public Service Alliance of Canada or the Northern Territories Federation of Labour shall be granted leave of absence without pay for the term of office. During the leave of absence the Employee shall maintain all accumulated seniority.

During the leave of absence the Employee without pay such employees shall maintain all accumulated seniorityrights and benefits to which they are entitled under the Agreement.
