Common use of Leave on pay Clause in Contracts

Leave on pay. Where a Public or MPI Holiday falls during a period of annual leave, sick leave on pay or special leave on pay an employee is entitled to that holiday which is not to be debited against such leave. This provision does not apply to a holiday falling during annual or retiring leave after the employee has ceased work prior to leaving MPI, unless the employee has worked at any time during the fortnight ending on the day on which the holiday is observed.
