Night Allowance. In addition an employee who is rostered to work night shifts where the substantial number of hours falls between 2200 and 0700 the following day, shall be paid a night rate allowance of $25.00 per night for that shift.

Night Allowance. 6.4.1 The Night rate (night allowance) will apply to ordinary hours of duty (other than overtime) that fall between 2000hrs and until the completion of a rostered night duty from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday and shall be paid at quarter time (T0.25) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay. 6.4.2 Night rate is not to be paid when overtime is being worked or a penal rate is payable.

($22.40 per shift as from 01.07.19.) (b) Night allowance is not to be paid when overtime is being worked. (c) An employee whose normal rostered hours of duty of a whole shift of 8 hours inclusive of the meal break with which finishes at 2400 shall be paid $45.68 per shift as from 01.07.18. ($47.05 as from 01.07.19.) (d) An employee whose normal rostered hours of duty of a whole shift (8 hours inclusive of meal breaks) and finishing at 0800 shall be paid $63.09 per shift as from 01.07.18. ($64.98 as from 01.07.
