Leave Parameters. 8.15.5.1 A unit member may take a total of twelve (12) weeks of leave during any twelve (12) month period. 8.15.5.2 In general, leave shall not be taken by the unit member intermittently or on a reduced leave schedule unless medically necessary. The taking of leave intermittently or on a reduced leave schedule shall not result in a reduction in the total amount of leave to which the unit member is entitled pursuant to this Article.
