Leave Loading. The employer and the individual employee must have genuinely made the agreement without coercion or duress.
Leave Loading. As a result of the Enterprise Bargaining consultation process employees eligible for the payment of Leave Loading in accordance with the South Australian Public Service (Leave Loading) Award will have the option of either:
Leave Loading. A Teacher who has not elected under clause 26.1 to receive additional superannuation contributions will be entitled to the benefits of this clause 17.8. Subject to clause 17.8(h), where a Teacher (other than a Casual Teacher), is given and takes annual leave commencing at the beginning of the school summer vacation each year, the Teacher shall be paid an annual holiday loading in accordance with this clause 17.8. The loading shall be payable in addition to the payment to the Teacher for the period of the school summer vacation. The loading shall be calculated:
(i) In relation to the period of annual leave to which the Teacher is entitled for the time being under the Act, at the end of each year of employment; or
(ii) Where relevant, the period of annual leave calculated under clause 17.8(h). The loading shall be the amount payable for the period specified in clause 17.8(d) and (h) at the rate of 17.5 per cent of the weekly equivalent of the Teacher’s annual salary. For the purpose of this clause ‘salary’ shall mean the salary payable to the Teacher at the first day of December of the year in which the loading is payable together with, where applicable, the allowances prescribed by clause 8 and Schedule 2 and 3, but not including any other allowances or amount otherwise payable in addition to salary. Provided that where clause 17.8(h) applies, ‘salary’ shall mean the salary (together with the allowances prescribed by clause 8 and Schedule 2 and 3, but not including any other allowances or amount otherwise payable in addition to salary) payable immediately prior to the payment made to the Teacher pursuant to clause 17.3(b). Where a Teacher receives a payment pursuant to clause 17.3(b), including where the Teacher’s employment is terminated by the School or ceases for any reason, the Teacher shall be entitled to be paid for that part of such fraction of the annual leave loading he or she would be entitled to for the full school year as is equal to the fraction which the number of school weeks worked by the Teacher in that year bears to the number of school weeks he or she would be normally required by the Principal to work in a full school year. The following formula shall be used to determine the entitlement to leave loading for
Leave Loading the arrangement meets the genuine needs of the Company and Employee in relation to 1 or more of the matters mentioned in paragraph (a); and
Leave Loading. 1.1.1 Each employee before going on leave shall be paid their wages at the rate prescribed by this agreement for the occupation in which the employee was ordinarily employed immediately prior to the commencement of their leave.
1.1.2 In addition to the above payment prescribed by paragraph E, 1 hereof, each employee shall be paid a loading of 17.5 per centum calculated on the rates prescribed by the appropriate wages clauses in this agreement. The loading prescribed by this sub-clause shall not apply to proportionate leave on termination.
1.1.3 The employee may in writing request the employer to pay the 17.5% leave loading at any agreeable time of the year or included as part of normal pay.
Leave Loading. The Employer will pay an employee an amount calculated on ordinary hour rates for the ordinary hours which would otherwise have been worked during that leave period plus a leave loading of 17.5% in the normal pay cycle immediately prior to commencement of the leave.
Leave Loading. (a) An Employee who has an entitlement to paid annual leave or non-term weeks pay in accordance with clauses 25.2(a), 25.2(b), 25.5(a) or 25.5(b) shall receive a loading of 17.5% on four weeks’ pay at the Employee’s weekly rate of pay.
(b) The leave loading shall be paid no later than within the last two working weeks of the school year, or at the time of termination of employment as appropriate.
(c) An Employee who has an entitlement to a pro-rata period of leave or pro-rata non- term week pay shall be entitled to a pro-rata leave loading calculated on the following basis:
(i) Category A Education Support Employee, Category A or D School Services Officer, Education Officer, Senior Education Officer, School Adviser, Catholic Education Office Administration Employee or Category A Placed Teacher: Number of weeks worked × 4 × 17.5% × Employee’s weekly rate of pay
(ii) Primary School Principal, Deputy Principal, Teacher, Category B Education Support Employee, Category B School Services Officer, School Adviser, Visiting Teacher or Category B Placed Teacher: [Weekly salary × 4 × 17.5%] × term weeks worked by the Employee in that school year For example, in the case of an Employee with a weekly salary of $1000 on termination of employment (or at the end of the final term week in the school year) who was employed at the school for 20 of the 38 term weeks in that school year, the calculation will be as follows: $1000 × 4 × 17.5% = $700 $700 × 20/38 = $368.42 (iii) Category C Education Support Employee or Category C School Services Officer: Number of weeks worked × 4 × 17.5% × Employee’s weekly rate of pay The Employee’s weekly rate of pay for all purposes of this clause shall be the rate applicable to that Employee on 1 December of that year or at the date of termination of employment.
Leave Loading. Employees will be paid 17 1/2% annual leave loading when annual leave is taken.
Leave Loading. In addition to the normal rate of pay, an employee taking recreation leave shall be entitled to a loading of 17.5% of ordinary salary, or alternatively the payment of allowances and penalties that would have been otherwise payable had the employee not been on leave during that time. The employee is entitled to be paid whichever is the greater amount. “
Leave Loading. 22.6.1 During a period of annual leave a permanent employee shall be paid a loading of 17.5% or the shift loading or weekend penalty (whichever is the greater) calculated on his or her ordinary rate of wage.
