LEGISLATION DESCRIPTION. Section 13 (1); Section 13 (2)(a)(IV) and (V) of the Data Sharing And Governance Act 2019 (IV) To establish the entitlement of a person to the provision of a service being delivered by one or more of the public bodies mentioned, on the basis of information previously provided by that person to one or more of the public bodies mentioned (or another public body that previously disclosed the information to one or more of the public bodies mentioned This is relevant to the entitlement of a person to participate in a Bord Bia Schemes. That person has previously declared they comply with Scheme criteria and if DAFM have reason to believe that a person may no longer comply with Scheme criteria, this information should be shared for Bord Bia to follow up on. (V) To facilitate the administration, supervision and control of a service, programme or policy delivered or implemented or being delivered or implemented, as the case may be, by, for or on behalf of one or more of the public bodies mentioned. Bord Bia Schemes can be considered services to the food and agricultural industries and are supported by government policy. Receiving this information will support the administration, supervision and control of the Schemes.
