Common use of Licensed Health Care Practitioner Clause in Contracts

Licensed Health Care Practitioner. A physician, surgeon, physician’s assistant, nurse practitioner, osteopathic practitioner, chiropractic practitioner, physical therapist, podiatrist, optometrist, dentist, or psychologist licensed by the State of California and acting within the scope of his/her practice as defined by California state law; or (B) any other health care practitioner mutually agreed upon in writing by the County and the employee; provided, however, that either the County or the employee may terminate such Agreement by giving seven (7) days written notice to the other party.
