Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Employer, the Union, and the Employees recognize they are bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7, and appropriate federal acts and regulations. Any breach of these obligations may be grieved pursuant to this Agreement.
Occupational Health and Safety Act. The parties agree that for the duration of this Agreement the right to refuse work, the processes in connection with same and the obligations of the Company, the Union and the employees, as set out in Section 43 and 50, Parts 2 to 7 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act RSO 1995 together with the relevant regulation in effect upon ratification of this Agreement will continue to apply.
Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Employer, the Union and the employees agree to be bound by the provisions of the
Occupational Health and Safety Act. The parties agree to be bound by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, in force as of the date of ratification of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the preceding, meetings will be held monthly or less frequently as the committee may determine.

Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Board and ETFO recognize the importance of promoting a safe and healthy environment for employees and of fulfilling their respective duties and obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its accompanying Regulations.
Occupational Health and Safety Act. During negotiations the Union raised a concern regarding possible future amendments to the Ontario Health and Safety Act and Regulations concerning workers’ rights to refuse unsafe work. The parties therefore agreed that should such legislation be passed, the parties would meet as soon thereafter as possible to discuss the effects of such amendments, and to determine a fair and workable solution of maintaining the current rights of workers to refuse to perform unsafe work. Furthermore, the parties agreed that for the duration of this Agreement, the right to refuse work, the processes in connection with same and the obligations of the Company, the Union and the employees, as set out in Sections 43 and 50, Parts 2 to 7 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act RSO 1995 together with the relevant regulations in effect upon ratification of this Agreement will continue to apply.
Occupational Health and Safety Act. L23.01 The Board and ETFO recognize the importance of promoting a safe and healthy environment for employees and of fulfilling their respective duties and obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its accompanying Regulations.
L23.02 The parties recognize that the Joint Health and Safety Committee, as established by the Board, is governed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations. The parties further recognize the Ottawa Carleton Elementary Occasional Teachers' Association representation on this committee. The parties will cooperate to facilitate any required corrective measures as provided for by the Act.
Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Employer agrees that when nurses serve on any committees, as referenced under the Collective Agreement or organized by the Home; attend inservice, or work on projects, such meetings and activities shall be scheduled during the nurse's regular working hours, or the nurse may choose (1) payment at her/his appropriate regular rate of pay for all hours spent outside her regular working hours or (2) equivalent time for all hours spent outside her/his regular working hours.
