Common use of Life Assured Clause in Contracts

Life Assured. The person whose life is insured by this Policy and as named in the Certificate of Insurance. This contract together with any attached supplementary terms, Riders and subsequent Endorsements. Each annual anniversary of the Commencement Date. The date that the entire Policy expires which is this Policy Expiry Date stated in the Certificate of Insurance. The period between two (2) consecutive Policy Anniversaries. The period from the Commencement Date to the day before the first Policy Anniversary is the first Policy Year or Policy Year 1.
