If we discover that a direct deposit in the name of someone else was successfully loaded to your Card, we may deduct the amount of the deposit and return it. You should check with the payer to determine the effective date for any direct deposit they send to your Card Account. At our discretion, we may post your payroll or benefits payment direct deposits early. Many (but not all) employers, government benefits providers, and other originators send direct deposits early with an effective date of 1-2 days later. CBKC will post the funds to your XXXX.xxx prepaid card when we receive it, rather than on the effective date. This may result in you having access to the funds sooner. The date CBKC receives your direct deposit and the effective date are controlled by the originator. If you already had a XXXX.xxx prepaid card issued by another bank, you must update your payer with CBKC’s account information to be eligible for the early direct deposit feature. First time deposits less than $5.00 and deposits from tax sources do not qualify for early deposit of funds.
