Limited Contract Members. A teacher on a limited contract may be granted leave under this section not to exceed the member's current contract period, unless the birth of her child or the placement of the child for adoption with the member occurs on or after March 1st, in which case the member may be eligible for leave under this section for the succeeding school year if the member's contract is renewed.
