Local Representative. The classification of a Local Representative shall be the employee assigned the operation of a Branch Office of the Employer. He shall be guaranteed forty (40) hours per week between the hours of 0800 and 1700 hours, Monday to Friday, inclusive, and all wages and fringes shall be as per this Agreement. However, for offices having no clerical assistance, straight time for overtime will be paid if the Local Representative does office work in overtime.
Local Representative. 4.4.1 Consultant shall appoint a local representative which meets the following criteria:
4.4.1.1 A company registered in Israel which at least two of its employees are engineers; or
4.4.1.2 A company registered in Israel, which at least two of its employees have at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects in Israel.
4.4.2 Local Representative's responsibilities shall include the following:
4.4.2.1 Closely work together in the execution of the project.
4.4.2.2 Act ISA Project Manager assistant, process facilitator and supervisor assistance in various assessment works.
4.4.2.3 Strategic cooperation with ISA throughout the assessment period for all Work Packages with valuable knowledge about local standards and systems.
4.4.2.4 Acquire documentation, occasional Hebrew documents translation, scheduling meetings and coordination of the local activities.
4.4.2.5 Perform Inspection and document assessment, reading and understanding of specific documents often written in Hebrew, interviews with local experts and planning and participating in meetings.
4.4.2.6 Perform and participate on site spot checks basis, monitoring of Integration tests and different Emergency drills if requested.
4.4.2.7 Assess ISR committee documents, risk management and readiness of the operational rule book and training.
4.4.3 ISR shall approve the Local Representative in advance and in writing. Any changes in the Local Representative's identity are subject to ISR's approval in advance and in writing.

Local Representative. The Union reserves the right to appoint or elect a Local Representative, as deemed necessary for the proper representation of the members. There should be one Local Representative. The Local Representative’s duties shall be to represent the employees in accordance with the grievance procedures set forth in this Agreement. The Union shall furnish the District the name of the Local Representative, in writing, and shall promptly give written notice of any changes. The Local Representative may select an alternate to fill in during their absence. It is recognized and agreed that the Local Representative has job responsibilities as well as work assignments. Local Representatives who need to leave their work assignments for reasons set out in this article shall notify their Supervisor (providing a reason) and request permission to leave. Such permission will not be unreasonably denied. It is the responsibility of the Local Representative to keep their supervisor advised of the amount of time needed to be away from their duties and the reason behind it. Therefore, upon receiving authorization from his/her Supervisor, the Local Representative shall be relieved of work assignments for such periods as may be necessary to discharge his/her job responsibilities in accordance with the terms and provisions of this Agreement, such as:
1. To investigate on behalf of any employee or group of employees any complaint, controversy, grievance, or violation of any part of this Agreement by the District or the Union membership.
2. To present such complaint, controversy, grievance, or violation to the District orally or written.
3. To participate in scheduled investigation, grievance, management, or negotiation meetings in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, and to meet with and accompany the General Chairperson and International Representative through the property and to the office in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

Local Representative. If Sponsor desires to conduct a trial in one or more countries that require a local sponsor or representative (the “Local Representative”): (a) to indemnify sites for harm caused by the trial drug or medical device, or (b) otherwise assume primary responsibility for: (i) the trial drug or medical devices, (ii) acting as the importer of record for any trial drug, devices or other goods, or (iii) the trial in general, including without limitation any procedures required by the protocol, Sponsor may request that Quintiles serve as Local Representative in such countries. If Quintiles agrees that one or more of its affiliates will act as Local Representative for Sponsor for a particular trial, the parties will negotiate and enter into a separate agreement specifying the terms of Quintiles affiliates acting as Sponsor’s Local Representative.
Local Representative. The Association shall be entitled to have one local representative and alternate local representative in each of the:
1) Vancouver Island Region - Victoria Client Offices;
2) Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx - Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx Client Office;
3) Interior Regional Office - Northern and Interior Client Office. In the event that new offices are opened which are not part of an existing facility, each office will be entitled to its own local representative.
Local Representative. Bidder shall have a LOCAL field representative available at all times during the contract period.
