Loss Of Personal Effects Allowance. An employee will be reimbursed up to $2500 for the loss of personal effects normally required while offshore, which are lost due to fire, explosion, collision, foundering or collapse of a fixed platform, vessel or work barge. Provided that no payment will be made where the employee's loss is made good by any insurance policy or other claim on the employer or any third party.
