Lower Job- Continuous. Employees changed from a higher job title to a lower job title shall have their rate of pay reduced to that of the lower job title at the same position on the applicable wage guide. In the event the employee is reclassified to a position which the employee formerly held; the employee's wage shall be no less than the same progression step in that schedule to which the employee had previously progressed.

  • Continuous MCC System service is defined as continuous employment and shall include all authorized leaves of absence since the last date of hire into a status granting position as well as periods of continuous prior state service performed by employees transferred to the MCC System pursuant to Chapter 695 (Public Law 1985) on April 6, 1986.

  • Employment Deemed Continuous ‌ The service of an employee who is absent from work in accordance with this article shall be considered continuous for the purpose of Articles 18 (Vacation Entitlement) and 25 (Health Care Plans). The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.
