b. Effective Fiscal Year 2016, employees covered by this MOU with eight (8) or more years of service as a sworn police officer as of August 15 will receive an additional uniform/equipment/cleaning allowance of $2,100, in the first full pay period in September.
1) For laterals, years of service includes continuous time served as a sworn police officer at another law enforcement agency and/or the City. The Parties may discuss the qualifications to be considered a sworn police officer at the POA Labor Management Committee.
2) For employees covered by this MOU who were Police Recruits for the City, years of service includes the time served as a Police Recruit.
3) Twice a year, the City will review an employee’s years of service to determine eligibility for this allowance. The City will determine an employee’s eligibility based on an employee’s years of service as of August 15 and March 15. If an employee is first eligible as of August 15, the City will pay the annual allowance in the first full pay period in September. If an employee is eligible as of March 15, the City will pay the annual allowance in the first full pay period in April. An employee covered by this MOU will receive this allowance only once per calendar year.
4) These amounts are not included in “Base Compensation” under the SDCERS Plan.
5) For Fiscal Year 2017 only, employees covered by this MOU with eight (8) or more years of service as a sworn police officer as of August 15, 2016 and as defined in this Article will receive an additional uniform/equipment/cleaning allowance of $1,000 in their September 23, 2016 paycheck.
6) For Fiscal Year 2017 only, employees covered by this MOU who were hired on or before August 15, 2015 and who are not eligible to receive the additional uniform allowance under Section B.2.b. of this Article because they do not have eight (8) or more years of service as a sworn police officer as of August 15, 2016 will receive an additional uniform/equipment/cleaning allowance of $5,498 in their September 23, 2016 paycheck.
7) For Fiscal Year 2017 only, employees covered by this MOU with eight (8) or more years of service as a sworn police officer as of August 15, 2016 and were hired on July 18, 2008 will receive an additional uniform/equipment/cleaning allowance of $3,398 in their September 23, 2016 paycheck.
Maintenance and Upkeep i) Licensee is required to keep the inside of their apartment and the outside areas adjacent to their apartment in a clean and sanitary condition. Personal property and equipment may not be stored outside, or in the hallways of the apartment buildings. Clotheslines are prohibited in the apartment areas. Each licensee shall dispose of garbage, rubbish and waste in a manner prescribed by the University, the City of Fargo and the State of North Dakota.
ii) The University is cooperating with the ordinances of the City of Fargo and the U.S. Postal Service in asking that licensee clear all sidewalks leading to the licensee’s apartment within 24 hours after each snowfall. Uncleared sidewalks leading to an apartment directly from the parking lot or a main sidewalk will be cleared off at the licensee’s expense if not cleared off within this time period. A charge of $60 per apartment unit will be assessed.
Maintenance and Upkeep. Tenant is responsible to maintain his/her trailer and trailer site in a neat and orderly condition subject to the National Park Service Operating Standards for Trailer Villages (Long-Term), the Lake Xxxx NRA Supplemental Elements to those standards and any, and to LMNRA Guest Services LLC Rules and Regulations. Tenant must make any and all repairs, when necessary, within thirty (30) days or sooner if required to meet the standards set forth in the NPS Operating Standards for Trailer Villages, the Lake Xxxx NRA Supplemental Elements, and the LMNRA Guest Service LLC Rules and Regulations. If the Tenant fails to maintain his/her trailer or site in an acceptable condition, the Concessioner is entitled to charge additional fees (based on rates approved by the National Park Service) to perform any work required to maintain the trailer or site.
Maintenance and Upkeep. On September 1 of each year, City shall pay single-role EMTs and Paramedics who have completed twelve months of service, the sum of $900 for maintenance and replacement of the items described in D.6.a.

Maintenance and Upkeep. By entry hereunder, Tenant accepts the ---------------------- premises as being in good and sanitary order, condition and repair. Tenant shall at Tenant's own cost and expense keep the entire property in a clean, neat, sanitary and sightly condition at all times and free from dirt, debris, accumulation of waste and fire hazards. Tenant shall upon the expiration or sooner termination of this Lease surrender to Landlord the leased premises and appurtenances thereto in a good, sanitary order, condition and repair, ordinary wear and tear excepted.
Maintenance and Upkeep. Tenant will maintain the Rental Property in clean and sanitary condition inside the residence. Furthermore, Tenant will promptly notify the Landlord of any problem, malfunction or damages to the Rental Property, appliances, and landscaping, in writing, so that the Landlord can take reasonable corrective actions. If the problem was caused by Tenants, or their guests or invitees, and not reasonable wear and tear on the Property, Landlord reserves the right to require Tenant to bear the costs of repair.
Maintenance and Upkeep. LESSEE will ensure that all areas used by groups visiting the LEASED PREMISES are kept clean and in good order after every use. LESSEE will ensure that its groups do not leave any trash inside or outside the LEASED PREMISES. LESSOR will be responsible for all interior and exterior maintenance and upkeep of the LEASED PREMISES; including, but not limited to, lawn care, landscaping, parking lots, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. (including graffiti removal). LESSEE acknowledges that it has inspected/examined the property and determined that it is suitable for its intended use.
Maintenance and Upkeep. Franchisee agrees to affect such refurbishing of the store (in addition to regular maintenance and repair), after Five (5) Years from the date of commencement of business or as and when directed by the Franchisor, so as to maintain or improve the appearance and efficient operation of the Store and/or increase its customer footfall or to comply with Franchisor's standards and identity.
a. Refurbishing may include:
b. Replacement of worn out or obsolete fixtures, furniture and sign boards;
c. Substitution or addition of new or improved equipment, fixtures, furniture and sign boards;
d. Decor,
e. Repair of the interior and exterior of the premises; and
f. Structural modifications and remodeling of the premises. The cost of such refurbishing and repairs shall be borne solely by the Franchisee.
Maintenance and Upkeep. It shall be the sole responsibility of each of the property owners to maintain parking areas located on their property in the condition of similar parking lots in the area, free of all debris, snow and ice, unless one of the benefited parties damages the easement areas through its own negligence in which event it shall bear legal liability for same.
