Maintenance Transfer Lists. Seasonal Construction and Maintenance Laborers will be offered year round positions in the Bridge, Sewer, Traffic and Water Divisions and permanent intermittent positions in the Solid Waste and Recycling Division based on their classification seniority on the Master Transfer List as administered by Public Works. Seasonal Construction and Maintenance Laborers will be offered year round positions in the Street Division based on the order in which they appear as of January 1, 1997 on the Street Only Transfer List as administered by Public Works. Once the current Street Only List has been depleted, all year round and permanent intermittent positions will be offered from the Master Transfer List in classification seniority order. The Employer agrees to meet and confer with the Union before making changes to the administration of the Master Transfer List. Further, Seasonal Construction and Maintenance Laborers who transfer to intermittent Solid Waste and Recycling Worker positions shall in order of classification seniority become permanent Solid Waste and Recycling Workers. The Parties acknowledge that some Solid Waste and Recycling Workers may experience diminished work hours based on their choice of assignment or seasonal layoffs based on their classification seniority and subject to the provisions of Section 17.04.
