Major Amendments to Shift Schedule--Consultation. (a) While it shall remain the ultimate prerogative of the Chief Constable to estab- lish and maintain Shift Schedules as soon as possible following a decision to make a major amendment to the 12-hour Shift Schedule and in any event not less than 45 calendar days prior to implementation, the Employer shall notify the Union for the purpose of meeting with the Union to obtain the Union's advice regarding the proposed amendments.
