Common use of Mammographic Screenings Clause in Contracts

Mammographic Screenings. Benefits are provided for the following Covered Services in amounts specified in a. One (1) annual routine mammographic screening starting at forty (40) years of age or older pursuant to the 2002 recommendations by the United States Preventive Services Task Force; and b. Mammographic screenings for all Members, regardless of age, when such Services are prescribed by a Physician. Benefits for mammographic screenings are payable only if performed by a mammography service provider who is properly certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health in accordance with the Mammography Quality Assurance Act of 1992.
