Common use of Mandatory Court Appearance Clause in Contracts

Mandatory Court Appearance. An employee may be absent with pay if they are subpoenaed as a witness in court, provided they turn in any witness fees that they receive and a copy of the subpoena to the business office. In cases where the employee initiates court action, their absence will be personal leave without pay.
