Common use of MARINE DISASTER Clause in Contracts

MARINE DISASTER. An employee covered by this Agreement, while employed by the Company, who suffers loss of clothing or other personal effects because of a marine disaster or shipwreck shall be compensated by the Company, for such loss, up to a maximum of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00). An employee or his estate making a claim under this Article shall submit reasonable proof to the Company of the actual value of the loss suffered. Such proof shall be a signed affidavit listing the individual items and values claimed. OFFICER CADETS
