Marine Insurance. 46.1.7.1. Marine Protection and Indemnity Insurance: If specified in Schedule A or if the Contractor engages in marine operations in the execution of any part of the Work, the Contractor shall maintain, or cause the Subcontractor doing such Work to maintain, Marine Protection and Indemnity Insurance with coverage at least as broad as Form SP-23. The insurance shall provide coverage for the Contractor or Subcontractor (whichever is doing this Work) and for the City (together with its officials and employees) and any other entity specified in Schedule A as an Additional Insured for bodily injury and property damage arising from marine operations under this Contract. Coverage shall include, without limitation, injury or death of crew members (if not fully provided through other insurance), removal of wreck, damage to piers, wharves and other fixed or floating objects and loss of or damage to any other vessel or craft, or to property on such other vessel or craft.
