Common use of Market Intervention Clause in Contracts

Market Intervention. 9.1 The Client acknowledges that business on a market operated by an exchange, as well as its authorized clearing facility, may from time to time be suspended, restricted, closed or otherwise impeded (an "Exchange Impediment"). Any such action may result in its inability to enter into or otherwise effect transactions. The Client shall remain fully liable for all existing open positions, new positions or eliminated positions, resulting in whole or part from an Exchange Impediment.
