The Market Research clause establishes the requirements and procedures for conducting research on market conditions relevant to the agreement. Typically, it outlines the scope of research activities, the parties responsible for gathering and analyzing market data, and any reporting obligations. For example, it may require one party to provide periodic updates on competitor pricing or consumer trends. This clause ensures that both parties have access to up-to-date market information, supporting informed decision-making and reducing the risk of acting on outdated or incomplete data.
