Common use of Married Participant Clause in Contracts

Married Participant. For a Participant who is married (including a Participant who is subject to an applicable qualified domestic relations order as described in section 414(p) of the Code), “Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity” means an immediate annuity for the life of the Participant with a survivor annuity for the life of the Participant’s Surviving Spouse which is equal to ½ of the annuity payable during the joint lives of the Participant and such spouse.

Married Participant. For a Participant who is married (including a Participant who is subject to an applicable qualified domestic relations order as described in section 414(p) of the Code), “Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity” means an immediate annuity for the life of the Participant with a survivor annuity for the life of the Participant’s Surviving Spouse which is equal to ½ or 75% of the annuity payable during the joint lives of the Participant and such spouse.

For a Participant who is married (including a Participant who is subject to an applicable qualified domestic relations order as described in section 414(p) of the Code), “"Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity” " means an immediate annuity for the life of the Participant with a survivor annuity for the life of the Participant’s 's Surviving Spouse which is equal to ½ one-half of the annuity payable during the joint lives of the Participant and such spouse.

Married Participant. For a Participant who is married (including a Participant who is subject to an applicable qualified domestic relations order as described in section 414(p) of the Code), “Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity” means an immediate annuity for the life of the Participant with a survivor annuity for the life of the Participant’s Surviving Spouse which is equal to ½ 1/2 of the annuity payable during the joint lives of the Participant and such spouse.
