Common use of Material Testing and Professional Services Clause in Contracts

Material Testing and Professional Services. The Developer shall be responsible for scheduling inspection and testing, including pipe, structure backfill, road base, concrete work and bituminous pavement in accordance with City standards. The testing shall be completed by a qualified Construction Materials Testing and Inspection consultant approved by the City. All testing shall be in accordance with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and City standards consistently applied to development in East Lansing. The cost of materials and testing shall be as part of the cost of the Infrastructure Improvements. The Developer’s contractor or construction manager shall provide communication services for the Project during construction and shall coordinate project communications with the City.
