Common use of Maximum Contract Sum Clause in Contracts

Maximum Contract Sum. The Maximum Contract Sum will be the total monetary amount that would be payable by County to Contractor for providing required Work under this Contract for the Term, including all exercised extension periods. In no event will the annual total of all amounts expended by the County, expressly or by implication, exceed the sum allocated in that fiscal year’s budget. All payments under this Contract will be in accordance with Exhibit C (Pricing Schedule), to this Contract.
