Common use of MCO Waiver of Medicaid Cost Clause in Contracts

MCO Waiver of Medicaid Cost. Sharing for MSHO Community Enrollees.‌ The MCO has chosen to waive Medicaid cost-sharing for MSHO community Enrollees for the term of this Contract. The MCO shall have a uniform policy to assure that the same amounts of cost- sharing for the same types of services are waived for all MSHO community Enrollees. Copayments for the following services will be waived for MSHO community Enrollees for the cost- sharing in section 4.10 above:‌  Medicaid prescription drugs (those prescription drugs covered by Medicaid rather than Medicare for dually eligible Medicare Enrollees);  Nonpreventive visit;  Non-emergency use of the emergency department;  Family Deductible.
