Common use of Meaningful Conflict Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Meaningful Conflict Disclosure. Contractors shall provide a meaningful disclosure of all potential and actual conflicts in a written statement to the LAUSD Contract Sponsor, the Ethics Office and the contracting contact from the Procurement Services Group/or the Facilities Contracts Branch. This disclosure requirement is a continuing duty on all Contractors. At a minimum, a Meaningful Conflict Disclosure must identify the following: (a) names and positions of all relevant individuals or entities; (b) nature of the potential conflict, including specific information about the financial interest or relationship; and (c) a description of the suggested remedy or safeguard for the conflict.
