Measurement and Payment for Gabions. (a) Chain Link Fencing, Weld mesh etc.: The unit of measurement for chain link fencing weld mesh etc for the manufacture of gabions will be per square metre, calculated from the area required to construct the boxes as shown on the drawings or directed by the Engineer without allowing for waste. The rate shall include for supplying, transporting to any point on the site, cutting, waste, bending, welding or binding, placing in position and binding, and all labour, tools plant, supervision, overheads and profit.
