Common use of Medical Supervised Repatriation Clause in Contracts

Medical Supervised Repatriation. If the Service Provider’s doctor, in consultation with the local attending medical practitioner, determines the treatment should continue at a medical facility nearer home following stabilisation, the Service Provider will arrange for the repatriation under constant medical supervision. AlI decisions as to the means of transportation and the final destination will be made by the Service Provider or its authorized representative, and will be based solely upon medical necessity. The Medical Evacuation and Medical Supervised Repatriation services described in 1.5 and 1.6 above shall be organised by the Service Provider and paid by Us subject to Certificate terms and conditions. All costs incurred are subject to a limit of US Dollar one million (USD1,000,000 ) per Covered Person per event.
