Member Identification Program. As a result of the September 11, 2001 attack on America, The USA Patriots Act was signed into law. In an effort to comply with this regulation, the Credit Union must verify the identity of each new applicant and / or signatory being added to a new account or an existing account. Furthermore, the Credit Union must maintain a record of the information used to verify the person’s identity including name, physical address, date of birth, social security number and / or other identifying number associated with the applicant. Upon receipt of your application for membership on a new or an existing account, you authorize the credit union to verify your identity.
