Member/Provider Relationship. The choice of a Provider is solely Yours. We and all Participating Providers are to each other independent contractors, and will not be considered to be agents, representatives, or employees of each other for any purpose whatsoever. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana does not render Covered Services but only makes payment for Covered Services You receive. We are not liable for any act or omission of any Provider, or for any Claim or demand on account of damages arising out of, or in any manner connected with, any injuries suffered by You while receiving care from any network Provider or in any network Provider’s facilities.
