Membership in Professional Organizations. Certificated teaching personnel shall have the right to join or not to join any teacher organization, and membership in any organization shall not be a condition of employment or continued employment in the Shawnee School District, nor shall any teacher be assessed any fee or otherwise be required to give financial support to any organization to which teacher is not a member.
