Common use of Mental or Nervous Condition Clause in Contracts

Mental or Nervous Condition. Shall be defined as a condition which includes neurosis, psychoneurosis, psychopathy, or psychosis or disease of any kind, in a degree which subsequently impairs the Covered Person's economic or social functioning; and shall, as required by the Parity In Health lnsurance For Mental lllness and Chemical Dependency Act, Title 22, Guam Code Annotated, Chapter 28, include the definition of Mental lllness contained in said Act; and shall include, as required, relevant definitions found in the Mental Health Parity Act of 1996, Public Law 104-204.
