Common use of Merger Clause in Contracts

The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Tenant, or a mutual cancellation thereofof the Lease, or a termination by Landlord, shall not work a merger, and shall, at the option of the Landlord, terminate all or any existing subtenancies or may, at the option of Landlord, operate as an assignment to a Landlord of any or all of such the subtenancies.

Merger. The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Tenant, or a mutual cancellation thereof, or a termination by Landlord, shall not work a mergerresult in the merger of Landlord’s and Tenant’s estates, and shall, at the option of Landlord, (a) terminate all or any existing subtenancies subtenancies, or may, at the option of Landlord, (b) operate as an assignment to Landlord of any or all of such subtenancies.

Merger. Landlord's option hereunder shall be exercised by notice to Tenant and all of such subtenanciesknown subtenants in the Premises or any part thereof.

Merger. Merger. The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Tenant, or a mutual cancellation thereof, or a termination by Landlord, Landlord shall not work a merger, and shall, at the option of Landlord, terminate all or any existing subtenancies or may, at the option of LandlordLandlord and as set forth in Section 16.1.2, operate as an assignment to Landlord of any or all of such subtenancies. Tenant's acquisition of Landlord's interest in this Lease shall also not work a merger.

Landlord's options hereunder shall be exercised by notice to Tenant and all of such subtenanciesknown subtenants in the Premises or any part thereof.

The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Tenant, Tenant or a the cancellation of this Lease by mutual cancellation thereof, or a termination by Landlord, agreement of Tenant and Landlord shall not work a merger, and shall, shall at the Landlord's option of Landlord, terminate all or any existing subleases and subtenancies or may, at the option of Landlord, operate as an assignment to Landlord of all or any subleases and Landlord's option hereunder shall be exercised by written notice to Tenant and all known subleases or all of such subtenanciessubtenants in the Premises or any part thereof.

The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Tenant, or a the cancellation of this Lease by mutual cancellation thereof, or a termination by agreement of Tenant and Landlord, shall not work a merger, and shall, at the option of Landlord's option, either terminate all or any existing subleases and subtenancies or may, at the option of Landlord, operate as an assignment to Landlord of all or any subleases or subtenancies. Landlord's option under this Section shall be exercised by notice to Tenant and all of such subtenanciesknown subtenants in the Demised Premises.
