Meter Factor. 1. Volumetric meter proving calculations shall be in accordance with API MPMS, Chapter 12. 2. The average of five (5) consecutive prover runs shall be taken to establish an initial or new meter factor, provided that the five (5) proving runs are within 0.0005 (0.05 %) of each other and the meter factor is within 0.0025 of the previous meter factor under like operating conditions.
