METHOD OF MEASUREMENTS. Except where any general or detailed description of the work in quantities expressly shows to the contrary, Schedule of Quantities shall be deemed to have been prepared and measurements shall be taken in accordance with the procedure set forth in the Schedule of Rates/Specifications not withstanding any provision in the relevant standard Method of Measurement or any general or local custom. In the case of items, which are not covered by the Schedule of Rates/Specifications, measurements shall be taken in accordance with the relevant Standard Method of Measurement issued by the Indian Standard Institution.
