Metric System. To the extent required by U.S. DOT or FTA, Contractor shall use the metric system of measurement, as may be required by 49 U.S.C. §§ 205a et seq.; Executive Order No. 12770, “Metric Usage In Federal Government Programs,” 15 U.S.C. § 205a note; and other regulations, guidelines, and policies issued by U.S. DOT or FTA. To the extent practicable and feasible, Contractors shall accept products and services with dimensions expressed in the metric system of measurement.
