Common use of Millwright Jurisdiction Clause in Contracts

Millwright Jurisdiction. The Employer signatory to this Agreement hereby agrees that Xxxxxxxxxx Local 2736 has sole and com­ plete jurisdiction for the work of installation, erection, maintenance, and repair of machinery that the Em­ ployer signatory to this Agreement performs in the Province of British Columbia. Xxxxxxxxxx Local 2736 further agrees to abide by all existing jurisdictional agreements between the various building trades and the Millwright Union. The signatory Employer agrees that any person not a member of the Millwrights Lo­ cal 2736 shall not perform any work within the above jurisdiction of said Local Union and further agrees that if the Employer enters into any agreement with any Union or other parties, nothing contained therein shall affect, change, negate or supersede anything contained within this Agreement, to the granting to Millwright Local 2736 of the aforesaid jurisdiction. All welding performed in the field in connection with machinery installation, erection or repair and the field fabrication of structural formations within the juris­ diction of Local Union 2736 pertaining to machinery, baseplates or frames for machinery shall be fabri­ cated by Local 2736 members.
