Common use of Minimum and/or Maximum Rate of Interest Clause in Contracts

Minimum and/or Maximum Rate of Interest. If the applicable Final Terms specifies a Minimum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then the Rate of Interest for such Interest Period determined in accordance with the above provisions shall in no event be less than such Minimum Rate of Interest. Unless otherwise stated in the applicable Final Terms, the Minimum Rate of Interest shall be deemed to be zero. If the applicable Final Terms specifies a Maximum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then the Interest Rate for such Interest Period determined in accordance with the above provisions shall in no event exceed such Maximum Rate of Interest.
