The Minimum Hours Per Day clause sets a required baseline for the number of hours an employee or contractor must work each day. Minimum Hours Per Day a. Substitute drivers hired prior to September 6, 2005 shall receive a drivers regular guaranteed hours based on the route they are covering when they work a full day. Substitute drivers shall receive pay for actual hours worked for anything less than a full day. A full day shall be considered as a complete set of a.m. and p.m. runs regardless of the route the runs are worked on.
b. Substitute drivers hired after September 6, 2005 shall receive drive time only plus thirty minutes prep time for the day. (i.e. No six hour guarantee).
