Missed Appointment Fee Clause Samples
A Missed Appointment Fee clause establishes a charge that clients must pay if they fail to attend a scheduled appointment without providing adequate notice. Typically, this clause outlines the required notice period for cancellations—such as 24 or 48 hours—and specifies the amount or percentage of the fee that will be charged for missed appointments. Its core practical function is to compensate the service provider for lost time and revenue, while also encouraging clients to honor their commitments or provide timely notice of changes.
