Common use of Mobilization Clause in Contracts

Mobilization. 3.13.1 The Work specified as Mobilization consists of preparatory work and operations in mobilizing for beginning work on the Project, including, but not limited to, those operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the Project site, building permit costs, and for the establishment of temporary offices, building facilities, utilities, safety equipment and first aid supplies, sanitary and other facilities, as required by these Contract Documents and State and local laws and regulations. The costs of bonds and all required insurance and other preconstruction expense necessary for the start of the Work, excluding the cost of construction materials, will also be included in Mobilization.
