Length of Assignment. Standard assignment is up to fourteen (14) days or less exclusive of travel to and from the institution. Travel time to and from the incident shall be considered time worked. The length of the assignment is unknown at the time of the placement of the resource order and days and hours worked are not guaranteed.
Length of Assignment. When mobilized under this agreement, FSO personnel should be prepared for a 14-day assignment, excluding travel days. Depending on incident location, one or more days may be necessary for travel, increasing the total assignment time. When assignments are extended, the process will be in accordance with the NWCG Standards for Interagency Incident Business Management (SIIBM), Chapter 10. If provided paid days off at an incident to extend, documentation with approvals must be provided for reimbursement. Administrative Paid Days off upon return to the home unit will not be reimbursed.
Length of Assignment i. Where it is known in advance that the assignment will be for a period of more than three (3) months, the employee shall be given a temporary contract.
ii. An employee whose on-call assignment extends for a period of more than three (3) months shall be given a temporary contract which shall be deemed to be, with the exception of benefits, retroactive to the beginning of the assignment.
iii. An employee whose on call assignment ends on the last day of a given school year does not automatically have the right to be given the same assignment in the following school year.
iv. In circumstances where the same teacher teaching on call who ended the on call assignment or term position described in Article C.20.2.b.iii above also receives the assignment in the next school year, the following shall apply: the teacher teaching on call, pursuant to Article C.20.2.b.ii of the Collective Agreement, will be awarded a temporary contract in the next school year after the employee has been in the assignment for more than three (3) months, calculated from the commencement of the previous year’s assignment.
Length of Assignment. Personnel will be assigned to the Customer specified Work Site(s) exclusively for at least 90 days or 13 weeks. If Per Diem Personnel are requested, Customer and Amergis will use commercially reasonable efforts to document the length of the assignment(s) in a Customer Assignment Confirmation.
Length of Assignment. First Year Students The License Agreement period may be for up to one academic year, defined as two [2] consecutive terms, except for intersession periods when the residence halls are officially closed. First year students are required to submit an application and the non-refundable enrollment deposit.
Length of Assignment. Temporary workers, in a position, shall be provided to the requesting agency/department for a maximum 480 hours per position, as required. (State agencies shall use the modified FTE process for temporary employment requiring longer terms.) If the Contractor exceeds the 480 maximum hours, per position, the State may terminate this contract per Section 18.
Length of Assignment a. Teaching assignments are made on or about August 1 and are effective for one (1) year.
b. Vacancies occurring during the school year will be filled with volunteers having the appropriate license/certificate. Only when no qualified volunteer is available will the position be filled by involuntary transfer.
Length of Assignment. 1. Job sharing assignments are for one (1) year only. The teachers must apply for the succeeding school year.
2. Job sharing teachers must commit to the entire year in the program. If either teacher terminates employment or takes a non-compensable leave of absence for the remainder of the year, the other teacher shall assume automatically full time status in the position being shared for the remainder of that school year. The District may waive this provision.
3. Job sharing teachers must notify the Administration by March 1 that they want a full time position the following year.
Length of Assignment. On-the-job training assignments shall not exceed 30 work days in a twelve month period except by specific written agreement between the Employer and the Union.
Length of Assignment. 1. Extra pay - extra work (excluding positions listed in Appendix E) assignments are annual positions renewable at the discretion of the principal. Extra pay - extra work positions may be non-renewed for any reason, and a non-renewal does not require a showing of cause.
2. Any staff member who holds a position during the current school year and does not want to be considered for the extra pay - extra work assignment for the next year must notify the building principal prior to June 1. If a staff member resigns after June 1 for any reason other than the ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, that person must continue until a replacement is found.
3. Staff shall be notified in writing by June 1 if they are to be rehired or not. Vacant positions shall be filled, if possible, no later than 30 days before the extra pay - extra work assignments begin.
