Common use of Modification or Withdrawal of Proposals Clause in Contracts

Modification or Withdrawal of Proposals. A proposal may not be modified, withdrawn or canceled by the proposer following the time and date designated for the receipt of proposals. Prior to the closing time and date designated for the receipt of proposals, proposals submitted early may be modified or withdrawn only by written notice which must be received by the District prior to the official closing time and date for receipt of proposals.

Prior to the closing time and date designated for the receipt of proposals, proposals submitted early Proposals may be modified or withdrawn only by written notice which must be received by the District Representative prior to the official closing time exact hour and date specified as the deadline for receipt of proposals. Proposal modifications made on the outside of proposal envelope are to be considered non-responsive and will not be considered.
