Modifications to Development and Production Plan. 5.6.1 When the results obtained during Development and Production Operations require certain modifications to the Development and Production Plan, such plan may be modified using the same procedure provided for with respect to the initial approval thereof. Subject to Article 4.4, the Contractor may not incur any expenditure which exceeds the approved Development and Production Plan without the prior approval of the Ministry; if prior approval is not obtained, such excess expenditures will not be recoverable by the Contractor as Petroleum Operations Costs or deductible for tax purposes.
