Design Development Documents. See Section 2, Part 1, Article 2.1.5.
Design Development Documents. In accordance with the approved Preliminary Design and Construction Schedule and based upon approval of and comments made by the Owner regarding the Schematic Design Documents, the Design Professional shall prepare and submit to the Owner the Design Development Documents. (See ASTM Standard Practice E 1804-02, August 2007, Sections 6.4, 8.2 and 8.3 for guidance on information which is generally developed in Design Development Documents.) The Design Development Documents shall consist of a Site Plan, building plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, equipment layouts, and other drawings and outline specifications. These documents will fix and illustrate the size and character of the entire Project in its essentials, including but not limited to kinds of materials, criteria and sizing of major components, equipment sizes and capacities, approximate layouts including required spaces for clearances, type of structure, grade elevations, sidewalks, utilities, roads, parking areas, mechanical and electrical systems. The Design Professional shall also prepare Outline Specifications giving basic descriptions of essential components of all systems. The Outline Specifications shall identify major materials and systems and establish in general their quality levels. Upon the request of the Owner, the Design Professional shall furnish to the Owner perspective illustrations, physical models, and 3-D computer models at a specified size. Such illustrations and models shall be performed as an Additional Service to this Contract and shall be compensated at the rates shown in Exhibit A and Article 4.1.3, Reimbursable Expenses.

The design development documents shall illustrate and describe the refinement of the design of the Project, establishing the scope, relationships, forms, size and appearance of the Project by means of plans, sections and elevations, typical construction details, and equipment layouts. The design development documents shall include specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish in general their quality levels.
Design Development Documents. Design Development Documents shall have the meaning given in the Professional Services Agreement with the Architect for this Project.
Design Development Documents. Upon receipt of written authorization to proceed and based on the approved Schematic Design Documents and comments from HISD and the PM and any adjustments authorized by HISD in the Project Scope, Schedule, or Construction Budget, the A/E shall prepare, for approval by HISD and the PM, Design Development Documents consisting of drawings, outline specifications, and other documents to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, materials and such other elements as may be appropriate. The Design Development Documents shall comply with the requirements of the PPR, Educational Facility Specifications, and HISD Design Standards. The documents shall be provided to the PM and HISD for review. The Design Development Documents must be approved in writing by the PM and HISD before being deemed acceptable.
Design Development Documents. As further described in the Scope of Work, and in any further adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project authorized in writing by Owner, by the date specified in the Project Schedule, Contractor will prepare, for written approval by Owner, design development documents for the Project consisting of drawings, models, specifications, plans and other documents necessary to fix and describe the Project with respect to the civil engineering, structural, instrumentation, control, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, acoustical and life safety systems to be incorporated therein (collectively, the “Design Development Documents”). As part of the development of the Design Development Documents, Contractor will propose to Owner, for Owner’s review and approval, the list of systems that will be the subject of the as-built drawings submitted to the Owner pursuant to Section 2.3.4(d).
Design Development Documents. In accordance with the City’s zoning and planning procedures, Developer, at its cost and expense, shall submit to City for its review, the Design Development Documents for the Project. Within fifteen (15) days after City receives the Design Development Documents, City shall deliver to Developer written notice that it approves or rejects the Design Development Documents; provided that, if City rejects all or any part of the Design Development Documents, then such notice shall:
