Common use of Modified Work Week Clause in Contracts

Modified Work Week. A modified work week may arise at the request of either the Administrative Head or the employee. Each modified work week shall meet the following criteria: (i) the daily work of the Department shall be carried out; (ii) where the Department relates to other components of the University, the role of the Department within the University shall not be diminished or diluted; (iii) where applicable the Labour Relations Board approves the scheme before it is implemented.

Modified Work Week. (a) A modified work week is a modification of the standard work week described in Article 19.1 (Work Week) which has been mutually agreed to by the employee and the Employer. (b) A modified work week may arise at the written request of either the Administrative Head College or of the employee. Each ; however, an employee cannot be required to work a modified work week week. (c) The appropriate senior administrator shall meet use the following criteriacriteria in approving requests for a modified work week: (i) the daily work of the Department shall be carried out; (ii) where the Department relates to other components of the University, the role of the Department within the University shall not be diminished or diluted; (iii) where applicable the Labour Relations Board approves the scheme before it is implemented.
